Kreis Restaurant

This place is truly amazing. It's your traditional old school restaurant where quality and service are their top priority. For our budget it's definitely on the high side so unfortunately it's only for very special occasions. Dinner for my wife and I after tip was around $270. Make reservations in advance. If you leave here disappointed it's probably your own fault.

Place was extremely fancy and a bit old fashioned. The food was ok and overpriced in my opinion. The experience was ok but the quality of the food was below expectations. I will not be going back.

Good resturant. Prime rib is very good. Sides are good. Staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive.

I got the king cut prime rib as it was recommended by our waiter. It was overwhelming. Too much to eat. But it was tasty. Add some real horse radish for a little kick. The service was very personable. Nice place with the classic lounge music made it enjoyable

Very good food and service. Great variety on the menu. Best 🍞 bread accompanied dinner. Bring your wallet but worth it. Great American take on seafood, poultry and meat. Something for everyone in an elegant atmosphere. German dishes also.

Just had dinner tonight at Kreis. First time here...really impressed with the service and the ambiance. The bread was crispy along with the butter...got seconds just to accompany the soup. New England chowder was definitely on the salty side but went well with the bread. Highly recommend the toasted ravioli too. Wine was good for its price and we loved the desert. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.However the queen cut prime rib is where I was a bit disappointed with. Even though we ordered the Sunday prix special, the queen cut was a bit on the small side. And the medium rare although juicy for the top cap part turned out to be a bit raw for he majority of the meat, and the prime rib was just a bit to tendonous and hard to chew. It wasn't really the best cut and I may have been a bit too over expecting this dish too much.Anyhow I still highly recommend this restaurant. I will still give it a try in the future.

Great food and superb service. Recommend a reservation to shorten your wait time. Pictured is the Queen Prime Rib. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the beverage selection which I did not like the choices offered and my guest ordered lemonade that tasted like lemon water. Didn't try any drinks with alcohol.

Decent steak. It was fine, cooked to med rare just how I like it. But it was just fine, not exceptional. My spouse has the salmon and I thought that was exceptional. Service was quick and personable, although I think that had a lot to do with Frank wanting to go home and catch the last of the Blues game. Cant fault him for that I guess. Lots of conversation from the back prep and kitchen areas which I found annoying because we were seated in the quieter back area. The front contains the bar and is much more festive. Yep, 3 stars. You can do better than this place.

Great experience all around! The food was phenomenal, our waiter was very personable, and the service was excellent! The restaurant had nice ambiance and the prices are fair (especially with being a great steakhouse). We definitely recommend and will be back!

I took Cole there for his birthday dinner. We each had our king cut prime rib and baked potato. The chef threw in a couple pieces of cake and we are stuffed to the gills. What a wonderful meal. Thanks to chef Trent Thrun and his staff for another great experience.

Family’s favorite restaurant. Have been going many times a year for at least a decade. I order a house salad house dressing, prime rib, and a double baked potato every time. Sometimes are better than others but it’s hard to complain.

Best prime rib ever! We had great service and wonderful drinks. It was a memorable birthday dinner for our friends.

Kreis was everything I wanted it to be and more. I walked in and it felt like a time warp to a bygone era. Staff was well dressed and entertaining, white table clothes, jazz music overhead, and cocktails at the ready. Food selection: shrimp cocktail to start, and 18 ounces of Kansas-bread ribeye with sides of mash potatoes and green beans. I recommend Kreis for anyone who wants a classic steakhouse experience.

Don't know why I waited so long to come here. The food; excellent! The service; phenomenal! The value; outstanding! Probably the best Prime Rib I've ever eaten! Can't wait to go back for more!

Always love the food and atmosphere when i come here. Great for groups.
